About Krak Boba
Located at 1945 17th St Ste 105, Santa Ana, CA 92705, Krak Boba operates as a bubble tea shop serving Santa Ana in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Tea in the United States covers everything from a traditional Chinese or Japanese tea house to a Southern sweet-tea counter, and the fastest-growing segment is bubble tea: Taiwanese-style milk teas and fruit teas with tapioca pearls, sold by chains and independents alike with adjustable sugar and ice levels. Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. Prices for a drink run similar to coffee-shop prices, with premium teas and cold-pressed juices at the high end.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (714) 760-4198. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is krakboba.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 209 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded bubble tea shops in Santa Ana.
Santa Ana is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Santa Ana is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I've been visiting Krak Boba locations for a few years now. More and more are popping up around OC. I've been to this location a couple times now. Parking: Free parking lot. There's a medium/large parking lot. Finding a parking spot can be easy. Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with limited indoor seating. Not sure if they have ac, but every time I visit, it’s always warm inside. I visited around the afternoon, and it wasn’t too busy but there was consistent foot traffic. Service: You can either place an order at the kiosk or at the register. Majority of customers placed their orders through the kiosk. Throughput was quick after order. Drinks: My go-to is usually the Seaside Green Thai Tea, but this time I got the Jasmine Milk Tea. I always get crystal boba from Krak bc they’re pretty consistent with its texture and flavor. Their milk teas are also really good, their fruit teas are fresh, and their coffees are strong. Make sure you shake your cup well if you add cold foam. Their cups have a plastic seal. Pricing: They have their own rewards app with points, coupons, and promotions. Highly recommend downloading the app. You can also conveniently mobile order.

Arrived at 9:30am, I realized there that the store doesn’t open until 10am. Went back to work. Arrived back at Krak at 10:03am. There was a customer sitting down on the front seating area. I thought, perfect they’re open already. Nope! The girl sitting down tells me the employee told her it’s going to be a 20 minute wait. Something about “traffic on their way” idk? I was watching the employee sweeping the front area, moving all the chairs around sweeping under the tables. (We still couldn’t go inside.) 10:10am the employee comes out and tells us they’re open. I began to order a matcha coffee with boba, he tells me the boba isn’t ready and it won’t be ready until 30 min. By this point I’m blown away! The night crew doesn’t sweep and clean before their shift ends? The boba I can sort of understand you guys make it fresh but all in all just a horrible experience. I was really looking forward to getting a drink to help with workload for the day. Staff said the “morning is more for coffee”.. yeah okay. I felt bad not being too friendly at the end but KraK do better! Really left disappointed. My drink Crem brûlée was okay, didn’t hit the spot without the boba.

Was in next door and in needed of cold drink for a hot day after workout. Saw this place 2 doors down and decided to check it out. Plenty of parking spaces since they have a big parking lot for the plaza. They got several outdoor seating tables/chairs and inside got nice, spacious & comfy seating area too. Cool decor & vibe. Menu is simple and easy to understand, they do have hot snacks to purchases. Order cool drinks via kiosk, quick turnaround with nice staff. Drink is nice and refreshing, perfect for the day. Overall a great place for a great drink.

Came in today to try their Mango Tango smoothie with real mango puree, lychee jelly, and boba — it was so refreshing and flavorful. You can really taste the real mango, and the toppings added the perfect texture. Not too sweet and creamy. If you don’t know what to get because they have so many options, definitely try the Mango Tango since it’s one of their best sellers. Definitely coming back again! The store also has seats so you can seat back and enjoy the drinks with friends

I walked into the store at 9:45 PM unfortunately the staff was rude from the moment we arrived. We ordered a King Brûlée, and when it came out, it tasted mostly like milk / water and nothing like the drink we’ve had before. Since it’s usually one of my favorite drinks especially at the Lake Forest location we politely asked if they could remake it or give us a refund. Instead of helping, one employee repeatedly and rudely said, “Try it… try it… see if it’s good, try it,” while two other employees came over as well. We then asked for a refund because the drink clearly wasn’t made correctly, but they refused. This was our first time visiting this location, and most definitely will be our last. The experience and customer service were extremely disappointing compared to what we’re used to at the Lake Forest location/ drinks. Why does it taste different at a different location YOU all need you learn how to have a default standard. I would like to have the same drink made the same way taste the day way and look the say at different location… With the reply that you have sent back to me yes I did mix it well this is the drink mixed and unopened from the top….
